Rarely do men share their thoughts and fears on marriage, or what they think it will take for their marriage to be successful. I think that it is therapeutic for them to do so, and that women need to know so we can communicate better. After all, effective communication is essential to a healthy, lasting relationship. After my wife and I got married, we published our private wedding journals in the book, 365 Days Until . . . The Journey to our Wedding. The day after our marriage, I began to wonder, now that we"ve said "I do", how are we going to survive the ups and downs that every marriage faces? With that question on my mind, I decided to "tweet" my thoughts, my fears, my dreams, my wants and my wishes for our marriage, as well as little clues on what I think it will take for our marriage to be successful. I also posted fun little reminders of why I had fallen head over heels in love in the first place. Not too many men would expose their innermost thoughts and feelings on the internet. Then again, I"m not like most men. I believe we need to share what we feel, good or bad. After great feedback, I decided to put them on paper, as reminders to all of us about relationships, love, overcoming the troublesome moments, what I feel it will take to reach the golden anniversary, and why I fall in love in the first place. I hope you enjoy reading this little book, and getting inside the mind of a man who is in love. I also hope it helps you with your marriage, by making it stronger than ever.
