Defeat unthinkable. "Redemption" is, at times, brutal and it"s refreshing to read a Fantasy book where the heroes aren"t perfectly good. The story hurtles along ... It"s a great fantasy book, and anyone looking for something with a little bite to it should look no further. Oh, and I cried at the end, which is always a plus...
