These stories are about real men in prison. As I mentioned in “Cellmates” some of these men were good, and some of them were bad. Some deserved to be there, some did not. And many did not deserve the amount of time they had been given. Still, they were there and most of them did what they could to make the best of their situation. A few used their circumstances to become predators and preyed on other, weaker men. Drake was a predator and became even more so in prison. Buffalo was a physically strong, emotionally weak young man involved in a fight for his life. Davey Two-Heads was a victim of the system.
