Growing up as a child, Brenda Hood did not know she would become the black sheep of her family. Although she had eight other siblings in her family-seven sisters and one brother-she felt as if she were Cinderella with the mean stepsisters and mother. She loved her family with all her heart and tried all she could to please her sisters, brother, and mother. With the exception of her father and her sister Diana, Brenda grew to hate her family. It got so bad to the point of her questioning herself and God about her family. Did she really belong to this family?She struggled to be accepted by her own, she struggled with her children, and she struggled with life all together, until she finally realized she needed to do something about it.
