Laments are normally an expression of regret, annoyance, or disappointment. This compendium of laments was written over seven years (2000-2007) and reflects the many annoying and disappointing observations in Gaelic lands and here in the United States during the’ Bush years.’ As you may surmise, I had incessant opportunity to lament on varied topics and events, be they fleeting or world-changing.
