In 1967, I was twenty-five years old, had been married eight years, and had three children, ages seven, five, and three. I was in love with my husband. I had never heard of a “Gay” lifestyle or heard the word lesbian before going to work in a factory and becoming infatuated with a woman. My home became a battlefield for the following two years, until I began a career that allowed me to get out with my children. The first story in this collection, told in third person, tells of that upheaval and our lives in it"s wake. It is fictionalized; some people and events are composites. "Jess" is a love story, a love lost to drug addiction. This collection of stories and vignettes from my life are all true, though names have been changed, as have locales in some instances. Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге Shards...a memoir (Barbara Ritchie)
