Rural Route One William McDaniel McCollum

William McCollum was born and raised on the rural dirt roads in the hills of North Alabama. At age seventeen, he enlisted in the United States Army and later retired after more than twenty years of active service. His overseas tours were in Germany, Korea and Vietnam.
