The internet has been busy. Because of the technology, there are many more political discussions and debate between people than there was when our society was more isolated in communications. The debates within our culture are being carried on between millions of people-discussions and many postings, articles and blogs have become filled with invective. I see the level of anger in the political debate and feel it is not completely out of the realm of possibility a kind of civil war is inevitable. The left and right are in a constant struggle for power and influence. There have been many true incidents of vandalism, harassment and even assaults arising out of the political arena. There are villains on both the left and right which clash in murderous contempt for each other-to kill the person and the ideas. The country is torn apart. Many people hate each other for their beliefs and take their contest beyond words. The divide was orchestrated and fed by a rogue group of foreign corporate leaders who had access to nuclear bombs, used them and threatened to capture American wealth. This shadowy group found millions of people pliable enough to touch off a virtual civil war-that digressed from hateful debate to violence. The corporate cabal seeding the torment is discovered before their plan of world domination can develop further. Disturbing and plausible... pathetic failure of American society, the story sets out an end game this country may very well be headed toward. It is an experimental work written in first and third person. The desire for freedom, peace and love drives the story as Sam finds love again in Sara, his political opposite-but a woman who understands and helps him.
