This evaluation of the theory and practice of ELT takes on board current thinking and previous theory to offer a re-evaulation for the individual teacher and the profession as a whole. The book"s main principles are that language consists of grammaticalised lexis not lexicalised grammar, that the grammar/vocabulary dichotomy is invalid, and that successful language is a wider concept than accurate language. Implications for methods, materials and teacher training are fully developed. Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге The Lexical Approach: The State of ELT and a Way Forward (Michael Lewis)
