This book is a revised edition of the textbook "Intermediate/Advanced Japanese" (Sosaku Shudan Nihongo), combined with June 2005-March 2007 issues of "Understanding Japan through Manga - with the Tabeta Family!," replete with an attached list of drills useful for personal study.
Beef Jerky, an exchange student, participates in a year-long home-stay at the Tabeta residence, and in the course of daily life runs into a host of Japanese phrases and issues of Japanese culture. We created this book so that those studying Japanese can share his experiences.
Manga offers words and phrases not normally found in textbooks. It affords an understanding of the Japanese way of thinking and sense of season, as well as giving an insight into the modern Japanese family. It would give us great pleasure to know that the reader was able to deepen his/her understanding of both the Japanese language and Japan while enjoying manga. Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге Понимание японской культуры и выражений через комиксы манга
