This was the theme of the second academic conference organized by the Mona campus of the University of the West Indies. The edited papers from that conference are presented in this volume which represents the first major publication on Human Resource Development in the Caribbean.
The contributions are wide-ranging, reflecting views from the governmental or policy perspective as seen in the presentations of Dr. Kenny Anthony, St. Lucia’s Prime Minister and Dr. Keith Mitchell the Prime Minister of Grenada, but also from the legal, educational, industrial relations perspectives among others.
