Emmanuelle Emmanuele Arsan

The novel Emmanuelle was published and distributed clandestinely in France without an author's name in 1959. Successive editions later bore the moniker Emmanuelle Arsan, who was subsequently revealed to be Marayat Rollet-Andriane.
