Leadership 101: Developing Leadership Skills for Resilient Youth is a "foundations of leadership" curriculum for teen leaders. The facilitator"s guide consists of eighteen (90 minute) lessons or over 30 (50 minute) lessons. Topics include: defining leadership, qualities of leaders/leadership, self-assessment, power/influence/authority, communication & listening, consensus, ethical leadership, team building, gender & leadership, tolerance & diversity, motivation, risk taking, creative thinking, and encouragement & appreciation. Other topics are addressed in the debriefing and application of each activity/lesson. All activities are designed to be experiential and include debriefing and reflection guidelines.
