Jon Pylypchuk"s work evolves from the realm of the pathetic. Through drawing, sculpture, installation and video he explores the relationship between humanity, the animal kingdom and technology. Pylpchuk creates tragic-comic figures that are both lovable and loathsome, reflecting instances of pitiful irony that ring all too true. This well-illustrated publication presents a survey of work from 2006 to 2009. Born in Winnipeg and now residing in Los Angeles, Jon Pylypchuk has exhibited at UCLA Hammer Museum and the Royal Academy in London. Together with Marcel Dzama, he co-founded the Royal Art Lodge in 1996. Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге Jon Pylypchuk (Francois Letourneux)
