William Ronald (1926-1998) was an important Canadian painter and a founder of the influential abstract art group Painters Eleven. This publication documents an inportant era in his career after he moved to New York in the 1950s and where, under the influence of Abstract Expressionism, Frank Stella and Kootz Gallery, his style dramatically changed.
