About 10 years ago, the State Tretyakov Gallery held a retrospective exhibition of Vladimir Yankilevsky"s work. Now the artist lives in Paris. Our main aim in organizing this exhibition was to bring together Yankilevsky"s classic works that are part of private and museum collections and the new works created over the last several years. We tried to present the painter"s art in all its diversity, displaying reliefs, object-installations, paintings, and drawings.
