It is a book laced with this woman's encouragement, christian behavior, love and devotion of family and neighbors. She was widowed as a young wife and mother. Ada, the title bearer promotes the acquisition of wisdom and knowledge through prayerful petitions to an almighty sovereign creator, and exercised from her gain the true duty of man - "to love and to serve."
