Mark Twain (1835-1910) was an American writer, journalist, and publisher. Among his most famous novels are "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and its sequel, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." Most of his fi nest work includes many genres such as humor, satire, and philosophical fiction. The novel "Tom Sawyer, Detective" is a sequel to the book "Tom Sawyer Abroad" continuing the story of one of the most famous of Twain's characters. Since the detective genre was very popular back in the day, in this book Tom tries to solve a mysterious murder.
