Ad hoc network is collections of wireless mobile devices with limited broadcast range and resources, and no fixed infrastructure. The dynamic nature of network and the attacker node leads to frequent breakage of links which reduces the performance of the routing protocol.The secured route needs to be established between source and destination with only the trusted and non-attacker nodes. The cryptographic based secured routing having more computational overhead.In the trust based secure route discovery technique, the modification of mutable fields of control packets is possible. So both the techniques can be combined. The proposed algorithm to discover the secured route considers lifetime of the route and the trust value of the route.
