Mastery of Instructional Methods, learner preferences and achievement boosts quality of education at all tiers of the school system. Understanding varied instructional approaches, teaching-learning infrastructure, matching learner preferences and activities, resource and reference materials enhances achievement in specific subject areas. The study focussed on learners undertaking Business studies at the secondary school level in Kenya. Emphasis was on appropriate mix capturing imagination of different types of learners in a class by recognizing learning styles, adequate preparation and skilful measurement of learner achievement indicators. The study analysed existing systems of adoption of instructional methods, benefits and constraints to the realization of quality instruction and learner attainment.
