Given the huge amounts of resources poured into making technology work in the classroom, it is surprising to find that contrary to popular perception, the most important factor is not the technology but the fit between technology type and teachers' pedagogical belief that matters. It makes sense that the focus is on how the end-user, in this case, the teacher, is leveraging on technology to enhance learning. Most studies would either investigate the type of technology suitable for classroom teaching or the teacher resistance in implementing technology. The true crux of the matter is the goodness of fit between technology, pedagogical belief and collegiality in the school that determines the success or failure of the technology implementation. Two new terms: 'Technogogy' and 'Teachnology' are used to described the pedagogy related to technology use and the subset of technology that can be used for teaching respectively.
