Best Management Practices, (BMPs) are practical guidelines that can be used to enhance the overall environmental quality of a piece of property. They use some of forest management processes and measures that imitate as much as possible natural processes that occur in the forest. The identification of shrub management options for Albania, considers carefully the needs and capacities of the authorities responsible for the management of these areas, which include both forest service and the communes where forests area are transferred.
