Use of bio control agents in managing other plant disease impressed to test its efficacy in managing the leaf blight disease in sunflower both under laboratory and field condition. The biocontrol agents and plant extracts avoid all inherent ill effects viz., environmental pollution, residualtoxicity, development of resistance by pathogen, cost ineffectiveness etc., caused by continuous use of chemicals for disease management.
