Most of the developing countries in the world are experiencing severe shortage of electric power that is likely to be worsening day by day which stresses the need for the deployment of renewable energy resources to extenuate this energy crisis. In order to figure out a sustainable source of energy, this study aims to examine the performance of different solar PV cells. Initially, an investigation is carried out to obtain the most efficient solar panel commonly used in Bangladesh. In addition, a series of experiments has been conducted to investigate the effects of reflection and rotation of a solar panel in different ways. Furthermore, the effect of shadowing on the panel which is known as the solar hotspot has also been investigated. Finally, Pyranometer is used to measure the output of solar panel directly. Therefore, this study is expected to contribute significantly in the area of solar energy particularly in Bangladesh which may help to provide a fundamental guideline in using...
