Health over recent decades has been unequal, with convergence towards improved health in a large part of the world, but at the same time, with a considerable number of countries increasingly lagging behind or losing ground. Mental health and wellbeing are issues of everyday life in the society. Scholars, health practitioners, social scientists, policy makers and recipients of health care increasingly recognize the importance of considering persons’ perceptions of spirituality and social support in the provision of health-care services. The current work views mental health, spirituality, social support and physical health on the Indian adults, in relation to the Age, Gender and Region on a sample of the developing nation. Its inferred that Social Support, Spirituality and Gender predict 33% of the changes in the mental health. Gender emerges as a significant variable in influencing mental health. Age, Region and Gender impact mental health upon interaction.
