Adopting a structural move analysis, this book argues that native, ESL, and EFL graduate students differ in their writing of the generic structure of their thesis discussions. It is noticed that learners need to be educated to be aware of the importance of the move structure of 'discussions' as an important sub-generic part of any thesis, dissertation, or research paper.
