Uncle Doc, a recent widower, is invited to accompany his nephew Howard on his annual fishing trip to Rainy Lake. Howard has a brand new boat and more than enough gear. They enjoy a week of camping and fishing before the weather turns ugly. When a storm damages the trolling motor, they head back to town to pick up the spare.
