Bangladesh is one of the most disaster prone countries in the world. The unique natural setting and climatic condition of the country are responsible for major disasters. Among different disasters, the flood is one of the most threatening disasters for Bangladesh. Disaster management is not considered as mainstream issue in the physical planning process of Bangladesh.
