This alarming expansion is attributed to adaptation of Western life styles in other parts of the world. Scientists in the field agree that change in day-to-day life style in all walks of life can curb the epidemic. About 90 % of arterial diseases are caused by atherosclerosis that is a result of plaque buildup in the arterial wall.
