Indian systems of medicines are among the oldest medicinal systems in the world, provides leads to find therapeutically useful compounds from plants.Reverse Pharmacological approach on indigenous and folklore formulations can yield lead compounds with less toxicity, in short span at less cost. Peptic Ulcer Diseases (PUD) refers to spectrum of disorders that includes gastric ulcer (GU), pyloric channel ulcer, duodenal ulcer (DU) and postoperative ulcers at or near the site of surgical anastomosis.
