There is growing concern over poverty, food security, quality of environment and energy resources. Political change,too, is playing its part; democratization comes with more employee participation in management activities. This of course has to do with survival and adapting to a changing world. Failure to deal with transitional management is not only a serious moral failure, but will also jeopardize achievement of other management objectives.
