Excerpt from Transactions of the Fourth Annual Meeting of the Medical Society of the State of North Carolina: Held at Fayetteville, N. C., May, 1853

The President appointed the following gentlemen a Committee on Credentials, viz: Drs. James A. McRae, Robert H. Tate, and William G. Hill. The Committee were granted time until to-morrow to make their report.

Adjourned until to-morrow morning, 9 o"clock.

Wednesday, 9 o"clock, A. M., May 18th, 1853.

The Society met according to adjournment, the President in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The following members of the Society appeared and took their seats:

Dr. Owen Hadley, Richmond; James H. Dickson, Wilmington; Daniel DuPre; W. W. Harriss; S. S. Satchwell, New Hanover.

The Committee on Credentials made the following report, which was accepted.
