The great excitement prevailing throughout the nation upon the subject of Parliamentary Reform, must attract the most anxious attention, in every one alive to the importance of the question. There can be little doubt that the public have been awakened to this intense interest from a recent state of comparative indifference, that very lately it was not much considered, and was left to those Reformers par metier, who constitute a small sect, and made few proselytes. Before I attempt to enter into the momentous question itself, some remarks upon the nature, and temper of this sudden, and strong feeling is an important preliminary.
