The Sermons contained in this volume were delivered from the same pulpit, and under the same circumstances, as those lately published under the title of "Sermons on our Lord and His Blessed Mother." They require, therefore, no Preface, or preliminary remarks, beyond what are prefixed to that Collection; and the reader, it is trusted, will indulgently receive the explanations and apologies given in the one, in extenuation of the faults which he will find in the other.
