A wondrous spectacle! Roses and rue

For victor and fallen. Ah, propitious shade

Of Genii and Pisuerga! here behold

Our Andalusian gallantries and say

Where now is all your Moorish boast of old?

Dead! - vanquished by the glory of this living day.
