As there are persons among the afflicted, in different states of mind, his aim has been to produce a small book, containing a portion suited to every case. The Sinner, the Anxiously Concerned for Salvation, the Believer in Jesus, the Backslider, the Recovered from Sickness, and the Bereaved, will each find a chapter suited to his condition.
It is hoped that visitors of the sick and those who have afflicted relative 3, whose spiritual welfare they desire to promote, may find this book such as they would like to put into their hands.
