Fusarium oxysporum

In this investigation, Fusarium oxysporum produced an Acid Protease with optimum activity at pH 6.0. This fungus is rampant in the tropics and can be easily isolated from infected tomato fruits. The industrial production of acid proteases can be encouraged using tomato fruits as substrate for growth of this fungus.
