Excerpt from The Problem of Cancer: Or the Philosophy of Malignancy
"This march of antecedents, in cancer has formed an intensely interesting chapter in my line of special study. For fifteen years I have been cautiously insinuating under the notice of the profession discussion of many minor and detached matters, that the thus printed word might bused in presenting an entirely new system of approach in medicine. This I have called "Synthetical Medicine," and have published in the Medical Record, April 7, 1906."
