He shows how in the space of a few square yards it is possible and easy to build, with any available stone, or other material, an attractive rockery, and on this to grow a large number of interesting and beautiful plants. In the chapter on construction there is a mass of useful information that would be very helpful to anyone who contemplates laying out his garden in this manner.
