The global network has dramatically enlarged in the last decade in terms of users, sites, applications. users are joining the internet every day from diverse backgrounds and the Internet has become part of their daily activities. Information threats, on the other hand, have become more sophisticated and strong. As a consequence, establishing human awareness has been essential in order to strengthen the chain of security. This study aims to reach computer users from diverse backgrounds: age, sex, race, religion, and educational background. It will start by giving an introduction to the information security and the necessity of implementing security system and enhance awareness of people in groups or individuals in firms or homes. Then, this study will conduct a survey in order to measure three areas. First, the research will investigate their demographics and their use of technology. Second, it will investigate their practice with information and systems and how this can help or affect the security chain. Third, the study will check the level of awareness and knowledge that users have and whether this knowledge are used or not.
