Excerpt from Lectures on Female Education
Be it remembered, that on the twenty-fourth day of May, in the forty-ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America, Thomas V. White, of the said District, hath deposited in this office the title of a book, the right whereof he claims as proprietor, in the words following, to wit:
"Lectures on Female Education, comprising the first and second series of a course delivered to Mrs. Garnett's Pupils, at Elm-Wood, Essex County, Virginia. - By James M Garrett. - To which is annexed, the Gossip's Manual. - Third Edition, with corrections and additions by the Author."
