Excerpt from Farming Planting in British East Africa: A Descriptin of the Leading Agricultural Centres and an Account of Agricultural Conditions and Prospects
Opinion in East Africa is unanimous that the rapid development of the slock industry of that country is due to the introduction of dipping. The Government Veterinary Department recommends dipping: the leading breeders recommend and practise dipping.
Vast areas of the finest grazing country in the Highlands are situate in endemic East Coast Fever areas and subject to epidemics of Rinderpest. Were it not for the efficacy of dipping stock breeding would be impossible in those parts.
As in Australia, South Africa and elsewhere, Cooper's Cattle and Sheep Dips and farm medicines have played a prominent part in making cattle and sheep farming the success it is in British East Africa.
Cooper's Products are used throughout the land. Breeders know that they are safe in using Cooper's Products because of their uniform highclass quality. Literature describing their purpose, how to make the best use of them, and attain the greatest measure of success is sent free on request.
