Excerpt from Statute of Josiah Quincy: Dedication Ceremonies, October 11, 1879
Ordered, That the oration of His Honor the Mayor, delivered at the dedication of the Statue of Josiah Quiney, together with the presentation address of Alderman Tucker, and such other documents relating to the subject as may be of interest, be printed as a city document under the direction of the Committee on Printing ; and that five hundred extra copies be printed.
Read twice, and passed. Sent down for concurrence. October 23, came up, concurred. Approved by the Mayor October 25, 1879.
