This book is a supplement to the authors previous book, The Hoover Administration – A Documented Narrative (1935), which, after a conference with Herbert Hoover, was decided not to be included as part of the original. For the content of this book, Hoover placed at the author’s disposal the papers contained in the Hoover Library on War, Revolution and Peace at Stanford University, and also his own papers at his home in Palo Alto. Although neither a biography of Hoover nor a complete and accurate definition of his governmental policies, this book does provide a fascinating insight into the “special policies” of the great Herbert Hoover that will appeal to those interested in this great American. William Starr Myers (1877 - 1956) was a Princeton University professor and historian. This book was originally published in 1940 and is republished here with an introductory biography of the author Это и многое другое вы найдете в книге The Foreign Policies of Herbert Hoover 1929-1933 (William Starr Myers)
