Excerpt from The Year Book of Treatment: For 1891, a Critical Review for Practitioners of Medicine and Surgery
This year the "Year-Book has been increased considerably in size, but the original plan of the book has not been altered. It may be well to repeat that the object of the "Year-Book" is to supply a concise epitome of the chief articles of the year, with a short criticism of the more important subjects, together with full references. It is not intended to be either a dictionary or a text-book of medicine.
