The question of "gutty" v. "putty" having practically settled itself, as is the manner of such, by the survival of the fittest, I have in this edition substituted for its discussion a few remarks on the merits and demerits of the "bulger" - the latest phase of golf-club evolution. This will, I hope, bring the little book, as far as its humble aims go, to the level of present requirements.
