Excerpt from Homoeopathy, Past and Present
Some months back I ventured to have a Hom?opathic preparation analyzed. Though not mentioned by me, this fact became known; and, thereupon, vituperative Hom?opathic letters appeared against me. The columns of a newspaper did not afford space for the consideration of the value of a supposed science. In accordance with the desire of the persons in questions, I have now carefully studied the subject up to present date, and herein convey my answer in a paper, each word of which is the result of a fair, impartial, and careful reading of the chief Hom?opathic books. I regret that one"s labours find the following conclusions.
The publication of this paper has been unavoidably postponed.
