This is a look at the economics and quality of life in a residential neighborhood that has a sports arena. This research aims to show if having and arena associated with lucrative sports franchise improves the neighborhood in which it is located in. It will also try to show if it matters if the franchise associated matters, does the team need to be successful? Does it matter what type of neighborhood it is or where it’s located? This particular research will take a close look at the New Yankee Stadium and its economical affect on the South Bronx.
