The Book of Aloneness is a collection of poems that spans over thirty years and revolves around the theme of the "Unrequited." The book deals with various intensive and adverse emotions and states of mind that express both restraint and excessiveness and at times, excessive restraint. The overarching, unifying idea that brings all these poems together is the quietly disturbing realization of intentional and unintentional loss.
