Dante was a late 13th century Italian poet from Florence. Divina Commedia is considered the greatest literary work composed in the Italian language and a masterpiece of world literature. Dante has been called the “Father of Italian Language”. Convito, "The Banquet" is a collection of Dante’s longest poems with an unfinished allegorical commentar.
